“Sondra smiled and said that my thought process and awareness of how the subtle energy of the stones was affecting my life due to my belief in them was a great example of the ever so subtle shifts that we make in our lives when we adjust or enter a new belief into the mix of our thinking (and believing).
She then asked me to think about which of the beliefs I hold may have taken me toward a course different from the life I would like to live.  OK, now it was getting harder…what beliefs do I hold (even those that are very small and subtle – I did not want to start with the larger, more firmly entrenched beliefs until I was practiced at this) that were not supporting me in creating the life I desired?
Sondra recommended I look to the stones I most often wore as they were acting as talisman against one of more of those beliefs.  Yes, that was a good place to start!”

“How could simply being aware and believing in the subtle energy of the stones have an impact on my life course?  Let me think.

Well, that awareness had already caused me to think about my day, review the events I was aware of, and check my energy in relation to those events.  From this quick thought process every morning, I would determine what stone or stones to wear for support.  Thus, I was, in this simply way, feeling like I had more control over my life – more support in my life.
With this feeling of control, I approached most situations with a more confidence in my ability.

This feeling of confidence was, ever so subtly, creating more of the outcomes I desired.

Thus, my awareness and belief in the subtle energies of the stones was creating an impact on my life course as I was more often creating the outcomes I desired.         Wow – who would have thought that possible!”

“Rather than explaining what she meant, Sondra asked me a number of questions to see if I could identify some subtle life course changes in my life.
She began with the question of “what have you learned in your experiment with the subtle energy of the stones?”

Let’s see I have learned that stones do, in fact, seem to have energy and that those who are in contact with the various forms seem to be impacted by that energy to one degree or another.
Perfect, she said.  Then she asked: “How has this information changed your life?”
Hmmmm – it has changed my life in that I am aware of the stones I wear and the potential impact they may have on my life that day.
Perfect, said Sondra.  Now let’s see how that awareness, as subtle as it is, can have an impact on your life – your life course.”

“And what a ride I was going to be!

I asked Sondra exactly what she meant by a “one-hundredth of a shift on the radio dial of life”?

She explained that often we make decisions or come in contact with energy or energies that seem to have very little impact at the time.  We may, if we are watching our thoughts and responses, may feel like something has occurred.  Most often, we don’t notice because we are too “into our heads” to notice our body or heart based responses.  As most of us have never been trained to notice subtle energy shifts or subtle energy impacts on any part of our bodies, we do not notice them.  And if we do notice a subtle shift of any kind, we often rationalize it away as a cold draft or uneasy feeling that passes quickly.

When, in fact, these subtle energy shifts are indications to us that we have subtly altered our life course. 

What did it mean to subtly alter a life course?”

“Sondra, the Intuitive Coach, explained that the subtle energy of the stones is also an energy frequency and that the energy frequency of the stones interact with the energy frequency of the individual, thus creating a shift of frequency.

In this manner of merging frequency, very subtle yet profound shifts can occur in what an individual might attract into their lives – in how they might think about or approach a situation – and even in who they would feel most comfortable with and with whom they would be least comfortable.

My look of disbelief caused Sondra to chuckle softly.  She went on to say that even a subtle shift – even a one-hundredth of a shift on the radio dial of life – could create a distinctive shift in ones perspective on life.  And, it is for this reason, that we should all consider carefully what we really want in our lives and then to choose the setting and the individual who are most likely to support us in holding our own energy patterns to create what we are intended to create.

OK – so, now, I am totally perplexed.  Sondra had taken this discussion to an entirely different level and I was more than willing to go along for the ride.”

“I had heard of an Intuitive Coach who blended Life Coaching with Intuitive Knowing, producing a balance between higher guidance and down to earth actions.  It seemed that this type of an individual would be most helpful as they would merge the “airy fairy” world of intuition (psychic) and the down to earth world of day-to- day living.

Upon meeting the Intuitive Coach (whose name is Sondra), I became immediately comfortable.  I presented her with the information we had discovered at the Jewelry Box party and my insights as to the differences of the lives of the ladies present and their attraction to the same stones.

Sondra was most intrigued.  She indicated how, in her belief, each of us does bring into a lifetime a primary life theme and that this life theme is underlying each and every scenario we experience in our life.  These themes, in her experience, often include a particular energy frequency and that those who study frequency were able to understand the primary theme of the individual.

 How might these frequencies interact with the subtle stone energies?”

“The next weekend, I decided to do a bit more research as it pertained to subtle stone energies and our attraction to them during particular times in our lives.  It had been interesting to me that very different ladies with very different life experiences and life scenarios had been drawn to the same stones.  This bit of information had caused me to wonder if there was a particular life theme to each of our lives and if, given our particular life theme, a stone or group of stones would be most powerful.

It also seemed that even with the different themes the same stones were providing support through their subtle energy.  Was it possible that the subtle energies operated on some very different levels than we had discovered thus far?

With these thoughts in mind, I sought out an Intuitive Coach to see what I could uncover.”

“As the evening was quickly coming to a close, we agreed to meet a second time to continue our study.  This second meeting was going to be focused on the stones that no one had in their jewelry boxes which are commonly found in jewelry settings.  It seemed as interesting to discover what we not drawn to as well as what attracts us.

The ladies left for the evening, each with their own new awareness’s and insights.

As the Stone Shop proprietor and I were cleaning up, we discussed what we had learned in this evenings gathering and what additional we might bring to the awareness of the attendees.

With these thoughts and questions in mind, we turned out the shop lights and headed to our respective homes.”

“With this story in mind, we returned to the jewelry boxes to see what more we could discover. 

Calcite was our next stone to discuss.  Calcite, the Stone of Development, assists us in releasing rigidly held beliefs, paradigms, and thoughts no longer appropriate or beneficial to the wearer.  Those ladies with Calcite in their jewelry boxes were perplexed by why they had been drawn to the stone. 

Not a one could remember a shift in thinking or perspective when wearing the Calcite. 

We began to talk about when each lady had last worn Calcite and what was occurring in their lives at that time.  Only one of the ladies had been drawn to wear calcite recently.  She told us that she simply liked the color – the rich gold and golden brown – and that it fit with a particular outfit she wore – nothing more.

This created a new posssibility – do we sometimes simply wear particular stones for no energetic reason?  That made sense…and yet, it seemed like something was missing.  Hmmm, could life sometimes be just that simple?”

“The following story was shared:

A lady was facing a major life transition - the closing of the tea shop she had operated for over seven years.  She was becoming truly frazzled as the date for the closing came closer - the transition was becoming very difficult.

A friend of hers brought in a stone – a mixture of stones actually – and gave it to her, asking her to carry the stone during the transition. 

The stone was a mixture of Jasper, the Supreme Nurturing Stone and Rhodonite, a stone that support emotional balance.  She carried the stone in her pocket until weeks after the tea shop was closed – until she no longer felt at odds with herself and life.

And I wondered –  was it really possible that one small stone could be of that much assistance?”
