“I was really pleased to see that she had a number of pieces of Chrysophase and asked her a number of questions about the stone.  I was so excited to learn more about this stone that continued to seem to speak to me.

She became quiet and contemplative.

I wondered what was coming next – was there something special about this stone that she did not want to share?  What was this hesitation about?

I learned very quickly as she took a lovely piece from her display case – brought it over to me – and recommended I wear it for the next three weeks and then return to her shop to see what had occurred.  I had to promise I would not do any research or ask any additional questions for three weeks…..Talk about the tables being turned!”

“As I spoke to her and engaged with her excitement, I had to wonder if anything could be better than what I had experienced in my Past Life Regression?  That experience was simply amazing and so intense that it’s impact on my life was still becoming fully known.  What would happen if I were to experience a Between Life Regression ?  Would it help me more fully integrate the previous information?  Would it lead me elsewhere?  What were the risks and the rewards of exploring this developing process?

I asked the Past Life Regression Therapist (oh, I suppose she will now want to be called a Between Life Regression Therapist…) what information I could find on this expanded process.  She directed me to some websites. I thanked her and turned back to the lady who runs the Stone Shop, returning to my original purpose.”

“With this thought in mind, Althea recommended I work with three different stones, identifying which of my friends may be best able to utilize their subtle energies, and, providing the subtle energy information to my friends, to follow the possible impact of the stones. The three stones she recommended were Tigers Eye, Amazonite, and Hematite. 

As I was in the shop, we decided to find the three stones Althea had identified, to create simple necklaces from them, and to launch a revised subtle energy experiment.  In this all, I was delighted with the information I had received and these wonderful ladies willingness to support me in my own learning and that of my friends.

So, with three new pendants in my possession, I set out to meet with three different friends and a revised experiment,”

“Madame X went on to say that stone energy, as with any other energy, is ours to optimize or minimize or simply ignore – we are the souls having a human experience, and as such, we are in charge of our reactions to the events of our life.  If we ask for assistance from the stones – then we will receive that assistance in subtle and beautiful ways. 

If we choose to ignore the stones or block their assistance with our beliefs or decisions about how the outcome will occur, then we are in control of that as well.  It is for just this reason Madame X recommended I provide more information about the stones to my friends, assess their acceptance of the energy possibilities being provided by the stones, and then follow their life situations and their response to such. 

She said that with the information they can make decisions on either a conscious or non-conscious basis to allow the subtle energy of the stones to assist them.  That, in her opinion, would be a better “test” of the impact of the stones.”

“All through these conversations, Madame X had been sitting quietly enjoying the information sharing and my response to the possibilities being shared.  Now, she leaned into the circle and took center stage by doing so.

With a very serious look on her face, she began to talk about how individuals though history had misused the subtle energy of the stones and how that was occurring today.  She told me that if I ever met someone who told me a certain stone would definitely create an outcome to know the individual was not operating in alignment with the stone energy or with the concept of free will.”

“Constance then went on to say that Obsidian – the Stone of Visualization – is a stone that is well served when it is frequently cleaned in the moonlight.  Due to its properties which create an empowering shield against negativity, tends to absorb much of the negativity it shields from the user.  And, this negativity therefore needs to be discharged from the stone.

Obsidian, due to its typically darker color, is best cleaned in the moonlight and the sunlight tends to allow it to absorb too much of the sun energy and, in doing so, adjust its own vibrational field. 

Wow – Obsidian, the Stone of Visualization, could assist me in blocking negativity from my energy field, particularly during times of change.  Further, it promotes the ability to see one’s own flaws and therefore aids us in visualizing how best to move through change.  Obsidian is truly a stone worth having and one worth taking care so it may support us in the best possible manner.

I was learning so much and becoming so aware of the power and support of the stones….little had I known.”

“Althea, due to her sensitivity to the subtle energies of the stone, was shocked with the energy this stone was producing….it was as if the stone had turned dark upon itself and, instead of giving wonderful energizing energy to the wearer, it was draining energy from the wearer.

Althea quickly smudged the stone and then set it to rest with some of her other quartz stones.  She then turned to the customer to have a bit of a conversation.  It seems the customer had acquired the stone from a shop going out of business several towns away.  The owner was angry and nearly through the stone at her when she asked to purchase it, saying that he would be glad to get rid of it (along with all of the other *!%*! stones. And that was all Althea needed to know…..she set the customer down and began to revive her natural energy flow as she spoke to the stone and her other quartz crystals around it, encouraging it to reverse the energy field it had taken on and become the stone it is truly meant to be.

When the customer left, she was feeling much better and her stone was imparting subtle energy in the manner it is intended – energy of connection and higher visioning. She also knew to cleanse any future stones she might purchase to ensure they are vibrating at the frequency they are intended.”

“With this information stumbling around in my head – stones with feelings? – Althea went on to tell a story about a little known stone – Iolite.

Iolite is known as the Stone of Shamanic Visioning as its subtle energies stimulate our ability to connect to our inner knowing; it aids us in expressing our true selves; and it assists us in journeying out of our physical bodies.  Iolite, as the Shamanic Visioning stone, is very powerful and creative in its assistance.

One day she was working at the stone stop and a lovely lady entered the shop looking for an Iolite necklace.  This customer had been told to wear Iolite to assist her in her meditations and inner journeys so she was stiving to find jus the right piece.  The stone shop did not have any Iolite at that time and the customer left empty handed.

About two weeks later the same customer came into the shop – looking less light and airy and wearing a very large Iolite stone on a chain around her neck.  She was clearly tired and simply “out of it”.  When Althea asked her how she was, the customer smiled and shared that she had not been feeling well lately.  Althea, with her connection to stones and those in the quartz family particularly, asked the customer if she might see her necklace. 

Althea said she nearly fell to the floor when the customer handed her the necklace.”

“Althea, a lovely blond haired lady in her early sixties, began to speak.  She told me she has an affinity for the quartz stones and as such, is very attune to them and their impacts.  Further, she told me that stones in the quartz family, due to their high energy, are very quick to pick up the energies around them.  And, that in the case specifically of the stone known as Quartz Crystal, the likelihood of that stone holding the energy that has been most prevalent in their surroundings is very normal.

The look on my face must of said something like “What are you talking about” because she smiled and went on to tell me more.

Many of the stones, the stones in the quartz family being the most significantly impacted, hold the energy from the people, environments, and/or jewelers who they have been in contact with.  To that end, if their previous environment has been hostile or negative (in the stones opinion – another “huh”?), then the stone will be carrying a slightly different frequency.  That slightly different frequency or “energy mask” as she called it, will then impact the individual wearing the stone. 

energy shops like the one I had purchased my stones.  And, to work with the jewelry designer, allowing him or her full time to complete their creation.  Their frustration or nervousness due to timing, etc. can also have an impact on the stone and its subtle energy.”

“With my questions in mind and some time on my hands, I headed back to the Stone Shop to see what I could find out.  I spoke to the owner and she indicated that I might be best served talking to an energy healer she knew who worked with the stones – that she might be able to provide me some insights into what exactly had happened. 

I had a conversation with the energy healer, letting her know what had transpired and what I desired to understand in regards to the stone energies.  She indicated she would be absolutely delighted to hear more about my experiences with the stones and would do what she could to provide some insight into what had not occurred.  Further, if I would be willing to meet of an evening, she told me of several of her friends – fellow energy healers – who she thought would be most interested in my experiment and willing to provide their insights as well.

We agreed to meet the following Monday evening at her office.  I had a really good feeling about the upcoming meeting and all it would uncover.”
