Identifying Beliefs – My Intuitive Coach & My Own Jewelry Box

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

“Joy found the similarities of the stones as amazing as we had during the Jewelry Box parties. She was absolutely intrigued by the number of stones frequently used in jewelry and the small number which seemed to be consistently reappearing.

I then went on to talk about what I had discovered when I spent the time in my own jewelry box.  Specifically, I told her that the information I had gleaned from the study of my own jewelry box and the observations I had made as to why certain stones attracted me on certain days was, to say the least, both intriguing and concerning.

Intriguing as I had found a pattern to the week, or so it seemed and concerning as the pattern had seemed to play out over and over again and I had no idea what the pattern was revealing about myself and my needs.

With this as an opener, Joy asked a few more questions.”

Identifying Beliefs – My Intuitive Coach & the Jewelry Box Parties

Friday, April 24th, 2009

jewelry box“The discussion about being attracted to stones allowed me to move on into an overview of the Jewelry Box Parties.  I shared how these parties were a brain child of the Stone Shop owner and me; how various ladies atte4nded the parties; and how each brought the stone energy jewelry “in their jewelry boxes” that they most often wore or used to most often wear.

Joy asked about the “findings” of these Jewelry Box Parties and smiled as I began to share with her the similarities we had discovered in each of the ladies jewelry boxes.  How the stones of Jasper, Amethyst, and Moonstone tended to be present in the mast majority of the jewelry boxes.

And how, when we asked the ladies to think about a day they had been called to wear a stone or stones, each “thought” it was due to the color of the outfit they were wearing that day…and when we were finished with the evening, most had come to the conclusion that they had, unknowingly, chosen the outfit so they would feel comfortable wearing the stone they were drawn to that day.”

Stone Energies – A Second Jewelry Box Workshop

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

“As the evening was quickly coming to a close, we agreed to meet a second time to continue our study.  This second meeting was going to be focused on the stones that no one had in their jewelry boxes which are commonly found in jewelry settings.  It seemed as interesting to discover what we not drawn to as well as what attracts us.

The ladies left for the evening, each with their own new awareness’s and insights.

As the Stone Shop proprietor and I were cleaning up, we discussed what we had learned in this evenings gathering and what additional we might bring to the awareness of the attendees.

With these thoughts and questions in mind, we turned out the shop lights and headed to our respective homes.”

Stone Energies – The Stone Story

Friday, March 13th, 2009

“The following story was shared:

A lady was facing a major life transition - the closing of the tea shop she had operated for over seven years.  She was becoming truly frazzled as the date for the closing came closer - the transition was becoming very difficult.

A friend of hers brought in a stone – a mixture of stones actually – and gave it to her, asking her to carry the stone during the transition.

The stone was a mixture of Jasper, the Supreme Nurturing Stone and Rhodonite, a stone that support emotional balance.  She carried the stone in her pocket until weeks after the tea shop was closed – until she no longer felt at odds with herself and life.

And I wondered –  was it really possible that one small stone could be of that much assistance?”

Stone Energies – The Jewelry Box Workshop

“With this information, the lady who did not have Amethyst in her Jewelry Box immediately decided she must have some Amethyst jewelry as she certainly needed clarity!

And we moved on to Jasper.  Following the same process, we were again delighted to see that Jasper, the Supreme Nurturing Stone, had assisted those who wore it with its nurturing qualities.  Each lady, in turn, shared how much better they felt – calmer, more grounded, more supported – when they wore Jasper.

A new awareness about Jasper was it’s wide range of colors – allowing everyone (no matter the color spectrum most suited to them) to wear it.  And, as with Amethyst, the two ladies without Jasper in their Jewelry Box immediately decided they must add Jasper to their jewelry collection.”

Stone Energies – Amethyst and The Jewelry Box Workshop

Monday, March 9th, 2009

“As you can imagine, the energy began to build as we uncovered the many similarities in experiences.

Moving on,  we asked those with Amethyst as a primary stone to remember the times they were drawn to wear it.

Interestingly, each lady who had Amethyst as a primary stone had been drawn to wear it during times of confusion and/or when major decision had to be made.

I was absolutely delighted to share the subtle energy of Amethyst – it is the Stone of Clarity!”

Stone Energies – The First Jewelry Box Workshop

Saturday, March 7th, 2009

jewelry box“Of the fourteen ladies who attended this first Jewelry Box Workshop, eight had Moonstone. seven had Amethyst. another seven had Jasper. and five had Calcite as primary stones in their jewelry boxes.  Of those who did not have these stones as primary, all but one had Amethyst and all but two had Jasper pieces in their jewelry boxes.

With this information, our discussion continued by focusing on these four stones.

We began with Moonstone, the Stone of New Beginnings.  We asked those ladies with Moonstone as a primary stone to tell us of the time when Moonstone most attracted them.  Each one shared with us that they were most attracted to Moonstone when their lives felt stuck and without much hope for excitement or adventure or change.

As I listened, I began to wonder whether the stones draw us to them when we need them most – or do we draw the stones to us…..who is the most powerful in each scenario?”

Stone Energies – Jewelry Box Workshops

“The evening of the first Jewelry Box Workshop arrived.  We had no idea how many or who might choose to attend.  We had set up tables and chairs for ten – eight attendees plus ourselves.  And we waited.

Oh dear, fourteen ladies arrived – each with their own jewelry box in tow.  After a bit of scrambling so we could accommodate this many, we began our discussion.

First, we asked each attendee to list the primary stones in their boxes.  If they did not know one stone from the next, either the Stone Shop proprietor or myself would be able to asssit.  After we had the list by primary (three or more pieces of jewelry in that stone); secondary (two pieces in that stone) and tertiary (only one piece in a particular stone), the group began to share their findings.”

Stone Energies – An Evening with Jewelry Boxes

Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009

“It seemed to me that, in this day and age of unrest and uncertainty, knowing about the stones and their subtle energy would be helpful to all of us.  With this thought in mind, I stopped once again at the Stone Shop and spent time with the proprietor.

We decided to have a “Jewelry Box” party for all of those individual interested.  In our thinking this would be great fun and may help some individuals through these turbulent times.

With this in mind, we set up three dates and contacted everyone we knew might be interested.  I went a step further and began research on additional stones that had not yet come to anyone’s attention or focus.  With this more comprehensive research we could more easily determine what was concerning each individual who chose to come to our “Jewelry Box” workshops.”

Stone Energies – Notes from My Jewelry Box

Sunday, February 15th, 2009

jewelry box“Finally our appointed day arrived and I headed to the Stone Shop.  I had my list of stones, the number of pieces of jewelry I had of each, the last time I wore each of the stones, and the list of stones I kept on my fireplace mantel.  I knew we were going to discover a great deal about my life from this information and I could not wait.

Upon arriving at the Stone Shop, I noticed that the proprietor had a table in the back set with a pot of tea and several cups and saucers…..awesome, this meant she must have invited several of her of so unique friends and I could not wait to hear what they had to say.

We all gathered around the table with our tea and scones – each of us totally enjoying the moment and the possibilities that lay ahead of us.  I was introduced to each of the intriguing ladies in turn and then introduced myself, shared my interest in understanding the subtle energy of the stones and the experiment I had been conducting.

The ladies present were more than intrigued.  We decided to start with Heather’s question.”
