And now, I was wondering if a Past Life Regression might provide me with any information or direction – would my Spirit Guides come in as my friend’s had – would they speak to me of what I needed to hear?  My friend had indicated that her regression guide was most clear about the fact that Spirit always brings what we most need – not necessarily what we most want.  So, what would my Spirit Guide (who or whatever that might be) provide to me?  Would this process help me?”

“The scene opens in a tea shop where a number of friends often meet and have a cup of tea.  This is the modern day “watering hole” at which a wide variety of topics and experiences are shared.  In this meeting, one of the tea ladies is sharing her Past Life Regression experience.  She is an individual interested in holistic forms of healing and connection and had happened upon a book written by the pioneer in this field, Dr. Michael Newton. 

As I sat there listening to her story I was entranced by the experience she shared and the information she had received.  It truly seemed too good to be true and yet, this was a person I had known for quite some time and found to be grounded and who did not tend to exaggerate any more than the rest of us.”

Note: Most often I receive calls from individuals interested in a Past Life Regression either because they have read the books produced by Dr. Michael Newton or because the individual was having coffee or tea with a friend and heard about that individuals amazing experience. In both cases, the coincidences of life open the door to a wonderment that can only be described through experience as each of us are uniquely different.

It is quite unusual if I do not receive many questions from individuals interested in experiencing a Past Life Regression.  It is for this reason that I offer a thirty minute complimentary introduction session to Past Life Regression.  And, it is for this reason, that I thought it beneficial to walk you through the steps in a Past Life Regression. 

The following posts to the Spirit Intuitive blog represent the Past Life Regression process and are written in story format.  None of the information is specific to any client and the Past Life Regression scenes that are shared in the “story” are from my own personal experience.  A Past Life Regression is a very personal experience and, due to this, confidentiality is of paramount importance.  It is for this reason that I begin with these opening comments.

And now – The Chronology of a Past Life Regression.

We often ask Spirit Guides if they have a name for us to utilize in the session.  And, most typically they provide a name.  Often, after the session is complete, I am asked about these names – what do they mean?  Are the names they give aligned to greater or lesser Spirit beings?  And will the Spirit Guide who makes himself/herself available during a session be the same Guides that appear in subsequent sessions?

These are actually very difficult questions as there is no set pattern.  Some individuals have a Spirit Guide or Guides who appear nearly every time they are regressed and the Spirit Guide is invited to appear.  Some individuals have a different Spirit Guide each time. 

Some Spirit Guides provide names that may align with known Spirit entities and some provide names that either have no meaning to either the physical Guide/Therapist or to the client.  And some, the name can only be sounded out or spelled as it seems to come from a different time or place in history.

Spirit Guides provide us with the names and appearances that best support our understanding of their message.  And, in this way, their information is best integrated into our current physical lives. 

What name might your Spirit Guide utilize when asked to appear?

I find it most interesting that many of us worry about the information we are going to receive.  Will it be something we want to hear, do we have to do anything with it, and, above all, what if the information is simply too hard to hear?  What if the information is something that we simply do not want to know and/or are afraid to be aware of?  What happens then.

The answer is delightfully simple.   Your Spirit Guides have only your best interest at heart and have no intention of springing something on you that you are not prepared to hear or deal with.   Your Spirit Guides, as I stated in an earlier segment, are very benevolent and have a knowing that reaches well beyond your conscious thought as their perspective is much broader and hopeful.

So, the real question is what do you have in your consciousness that you are reluctant to deal with – to address?  Once you have answered this, you can release any fear of it being brought to your attention by your Spirit Guides.  They know you know – which makes you all very knowledgeable.

And, of course, once we have the information from our very well intended Spirit Guides, what do we do if we don’t like the information?  What if they have given us direction we are not ready or willing to take – changes we are not prepared to make in our lives?

First and foremost – we are all working in a “free will” universe.  So, if we receive information that does not make sense to us or we do not wish to act upon it, then we simply disregard the information OR we reprocess it.  It is not uncommon to receive information from Spirit and create a dramatic interpretation – one we may not necessarily be prepared to act upon.  In those cases, it is often advisable to review the information and see how else it might be interpreted….what other options and insights the information may have for us.

I have yet to have a client receive information that, once they had the opportunity to consider the possibilities provided through the information, were not willing to accept in and act upon the information provided.  Spirit Guides are always benevolent and acting in our best interests.

How might information from your Spirit Guides assist you in creating a more dynamic life?

And, yet another question about our Spirit Guides is: What type of information do they provide and what do I do with it?  And the answer to this is very simple.  In my experience, Spirit Guides bring in the information we most need (not necessarily what we have asked for) that supports us as we progress through our lives.  Because this information can be provided us in a number of different ways – through visual images; through metaphor; through story (often called past lives); and through directly spoken word – it is not always clear what the information pertains to and how best to apply it in our lives.

It is for this reason that Be Unlimited Intuitive Coaching has blended the aspects of Spirit Guidance through Past Life Soul Regression and Life Coaching.  Through this combination and the experience of the “Guide/Coach”, the client is able to better understand the information Spirit desires to impart and how best to apply it to their lives.

What information does Spirit desire to impart to you about your life?

A very typical question, which then expands on to some of the other questions I will be addressing in later posts, concerns the purpose of Spirit Guides…..are they well intended, what value do they bring to our lives, and why can’t we connect to them in a waking state – why only in regression.

The answer to all of these is, in my experience and belief, that all Spirit Guides are always (a word I seldom use) operating in our very best interest.  They are always (there is that word again) available to us – waking, sleeping, eating, driving, etc.  And, they bring great understanding and value to our lives if we choose to view their messages and information in that manner.
