Spirit Guides – What if we don’t like the information we receive?

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

And, of course, once we have the information from our very well intended Spirit Guides, what do we do if we don’t like the information?  What if they have given us direction we are not ready or willing to take – changes we are not prepared to make in our lives?dreamstime_575788.jpg

First and foremost – we are all working in a “free will” universe.  So, if we receive information that does not make sense to us or we do not wish to act upon it, then we simply disregard the information OR we reprocess it.  It is not uncommon to receive information from Spirit and create a dramatic interpretation – one we may not necessarily be prepared to act upon.  In those cases, it is often advisable to review the information and see how else it might be interpreted….what other options and insights the information may have for us.

I have yet to have a client receive information that, once they had the opportunity to consider the possibilities provided through the information, were not willing to accept in and act upon the information provided.  Spirit Guides are always benevolent and acting in our best interests.

How might information from your Spirit Guides assist you in creating a more dynamic life?

Spirit Guides – About the information they provide

Sunday, May 4th, 2008

And, yet another question about our Spirit Guides is: What type of information do they provide and what do I do with it?  And the answer to this is very simple.  In my experience, Spirit Guides bring in the information we most need (not necessarily what we have asked for) that supports us as we progress through our lives.  Because this information can be provided us in a number of different ways – through visual images; through metaphor; through story (often called past lives); and through directly spoken word – it is not always clear what the information pertains to and how best to apply it in our lives.dreamstime_575788.jpg

It is for this reason that Be Unlimited Intuitive Coaching has blended the aspects of Spirit Guidance through Past Life Soul Regression and Life Coaching.  Through this combination and the experience of the “Guide/Coach”, the client is able to better understand the information Spirit desires to impart and how best to apply it to their lives.

What information does Spirit desire to impart to you about your life?

Spirit Guides – Are Spirit Guides Well Intended?

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

dreamstime_575788.jpgThis is possibly the most frequently asked question I receive when speaking to an individual who has not yet connected with their Spirit Guide through the regression process.  There is a fear that our Spirit Guidance will bring forth information that we do not want to hear or that we will be embarrassed by speaking aloud.

In my belief and experience, Spirit Guides are very well intended.  Any time a client’s Guides speaks firmly or provides them with what I will describe as “in your face” information, it is typically due to the fact that the client (by their own admission) has not listened when they received the information in the past.  Sometimes Spirit Guides, like parents or best friends, have to speak loudly and firmly to get our attention – to assist us in hearing.  And, this is, by far, the low percentage of scenarios.

Typically Spirit Guides are gentile and thoughtful – they share their information through thoughts and visualizations that allow us to ascertain their information without fear or embarrassment of any kind…..they are very well intended….especially when we honor their information as being valuable for our lives.

What is your greatest fear in relation to connecting to your Spirit Guides?

Spirit Guides – Further Communication with Spirit Guides

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

In addition to us consciously determining to connect to our Spirit Guides, these same Spirit Guides may decide to communicate with us without our prompting.  And, in fact, that is often the most frequent communication that occurs as we do not reach out to them nearly as often as they reach out to us.

Spirit Guides use a number of communication tools.  In my opinion, the most utilized method is simply through our thoughts….those thoughts that seem to create the right question or to provide the answer we simply could not create when we were engaged in focused thinking. These, in my opinion, are our Guides communicating with us through our subconscious thinking – our intuition.  Guides may also communicate to us through strangers or our friends who make a statement and we are stopped in our tracks as we recognize the information or linkages to the information provide us the information we are seeking.

And, of course, dream time is a well used communication vehicle for Spirit Guides.  Research indicates that we all dream every night and few of us remember our nightly dreams – or at least not consciously.  I often wonder how frequently the information shared in dream time becomes one of those “thoughts” mentioned earlier in our waking awareness!

And finally, Spirit communicates to us through our physical feelings.  Have you ever had someone make a statement and felt a chill or had “goose bumps” develop simply from the statement?  When this occurs to me, I take special note of the information as it feels like Spirit is directing me with either “that is so” or “check that” – in some way acknowledging the information’s accuracy or lack of accuracy.

Are you aware of Spirit using these communication tools in your waking life?

Spirit Guides – The Purpose of Spirit Guides

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

A very typical question, which then expands on to some of the other questions I will be addressing in later posts, concerns the purpose of Spirit Guides…..are they well intended, what value do they bring to our lives, and why can’t we connect to them in a waking state – why only in regression.

The answer to all of these is, in my experience and belief, that all Spirit Guides are always (a word I seldom use) operating in our very best interest.  They are always (there is that word again) available to us – waking, sleeping, eating, driving, etc.  And, they bring great understanding and value to our lives if we choose to view their messages and information in that manner.

If you have interacted with your Spirit Guide or Guidance, what do you see as their purpose?

Spirit Intuitive – Reason 5: Avoid an Intuitive Coach – My own advice works best!

Friday, April 18th, 2008

I have had the opportunity to meet with individuals who have “tried it all” and nothing has worked.  They have gone to every type of coach and therapist and intuitive and found them all lacking – that the information, advice and/or guidance provided was, at best, incomplete.  That what the individual is facing, no one else has faced before – that no one understands their challenge – so solutions are not available.

If you are one of these individuals, then you may we best off seeking your own guidance.  If you are one of these individuals then you may be well served to seek your own advice and counsel as it is true, in my belief system, that no one has our answers but us.

I wonder why we do not see our own spiritual guidance as our own divinity?

Spirit Intuitive – Reason 4: Avoid an Intuitive Coach – My Life is Perfect!

Wednesday, April 16th, 2008

How often do we all just want out lives to be perfect – to have them be smooth and without challenges or difficulties or anything getting in the way of a happy life.  I know I have told myself, when faced with one challenge or another, that my life is just the way I want it; that I do not want to change or adjust anything (and it is at this point that I stamp my foot and say things like “darn it, anyway”).  So, if you are in the place that your life is in fact perfect and just the way you want it and that there is no benefit for you to engage in discovery or growth, then you should definitely avoid an Intuitive Coach.

The very reason why you might want to engage with an Intuitive Coach is to seek out growth and the change that often comes with growth.  If that is not your goal at this time, then leaving life just as it is (as long as it will stay that way) is a perfect reason to not seek our an Intuitive Coach.

I wonder why those “perfect moments” in life seem to disappear so quickly?

Spirit Intuitive – Reason 3: Avoid an Intuitive Coach – To Exercise Free Will

Monday, April 14th, 2008

We individuals are strongly based in our belief in free will – the freedom to do things in our life the way we want to do them.  And, with that belief we are surrounded by the rules and direction of our parents, bosses, clients and our families.  So, to have some place in our life that we can choose our own solutions, our own pace, and our own decisions on what to confront and deal with really feels good – at least for a while.

If you are in this place of simply needing to exercise free will and have a place – a life arena – that you can choose what to deal with and when and how – then you may not want to seek our an Intuitive Coach. Spiritual guidance can ask us to address issues we do not believe we are prepared to address – to identify challenges we would prefer not to see – to bring to light information that causes us to create a pace of change for which we do not believe we are prepared.

I wonder why it is we choose to avoid our own divine guidance when we are facing life challenges?

Spirit Intuitive – Reason 2: Avoid an Intuitive Coach – Concern about Connecting to Spirit

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

If you are a bit uncertain about connecting to your spiritual guidance in a very direct and meaningful way, then you may want to avoid an Intuitive Coach.  If your spiritual guidance is something you believe to be abstract and distant – not connected with your daily life – to be left in a place of worship - then you may want to avoid an Intuitive Coach.

Or, if you are concerned that you may hear something you are not ready to hear or deal with, coming directly from your spiritual guidance, then you most likely would be wise to avoid an Intuitive Coach.

These are good reasons to avoid or not seek out an Intuitive Coach.

And, I wonder why it is we seem to have segmented our lives into Spirit and Daily segments?

Spirit Intuitive – Reason 1: Avoid an Intuitive Coach – Keep Spiritual and Daily Life Separate

Thursday, April 10th, 2008

For any individual seeking to keep their spiritual life and their day to day life separate, an Intuitive Coach is not their best support for creating solutions to their life challenges.  And, an Intuitive Coach would be even less support if one believes that a merging of their spiritual life and daily life will cause life overall to become more complex. None of us need additional complexity in our daily lives!

Therefore, this is one of the best reasons to not seek out an Intuitive Coach.  If one does not wish to work with their spiritual guidance and seek spiritual wisdom for their life challenges, then an Intuitive Coach is not a good fit.

I wonder why we think there is a better guidance than our individual spiritual guidance?
